weblog outside of english

the only way that i would use webloging after this is to keep in touch with some ppl from school or to get my opinion out there. More than likely just to get my thoughts out to the world and let them know what justin kerbs is thinking ahaha but ya the chances of me keeping this up after english is over is highly unlikely

academic vs electronic audience

it is deffinatly easier to write to an electronic audience because it more go with the flow like and you don’t have to worry about them being nit picky. when writing to an academic audience you are more care full about what you say and little things that you dont have to when writing to an electronic audience.

Op-Ed

In my recent research I have found some interesting facts that should be made public. America as a whole is a group of un athletic, lazy, un driven, group of people satisfied by only in doing as little as work as possible. People today do this everywhere. They work as little and as slow as possible but because of unions and the ability to get away with working like this, the drive in today’s work force and children is starting to slip.

 

Kids today have started to slip in almost everything they do you now see the majority of today’s youth are a waist of space they have no drive and no direction in which they are trying to go. They are perfectly content with sitting on their asses all day long playing video games.

 

One big hit on this would be halo 3 or world of warcraft or wow to gamers. This really is pathetic you have kids who will completely flip out if they die or if they lose. In my research I have seen people who will literally break there key boards or chuck controllers across a room. 

 

This kind of an obsession is not good for there health its been proven over and over again by scientist working and testing the minds of these kids. It teaches them nothing. I mean after hours of working out you feel good about how you have helped yourself, after hours of work you feel good because of the money you have earned, but what do you get after playing on line for 7 hours of the day. To be blunt you don’t get S#!t from it. From my own experience you come out of that trance and I get the feeling that I have just sat in a room fro the past couple hours and just wasted time. I get the feeling that I just watched the clock run in fast forward and just sat there and stared at it.

 

There are some things that create minor exceptions like the wii but even that one of the downfalls to it is that people think it requires too much energy. They are too lazy to point a controller and move their arms as opposed to only pressing buttons.

 

These games should be used to inspire you to be active. In all of these sports games you should want to go out and do what these guys do in the game. It should be like watching a good and inspiring movie. It should drive you toward doing something. But ehh who wants to be active.

 

The funny thing is instead of failing in life you actually see these people accommodated for by unions. I have personally talked to people trapped by unions and in his words he said that in his opinion they did not benefit a hard worker but instead a worker who works just hard enough and just slow enough to not get fired but do as minimal work as possible.
